Steps:
Install Xiaomi USB Drivers:
- Download the Xiaomi USB drivers.
- Extract and install the drivers on your PC.
Download and Extract Xiaomi Flash Tool:
- Download the latest Xiaomi Flash Tool.
- Extract the files to a folder on your PC.
Download and Extract Firmware:
- Download the appropriate firmware for your Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.
- Extract the firmware files to a folder on your PC.
Boot Device into Fastboot Mode:
- Turn off your Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously until the Fastboot screen appears.
Connect Device to PC:
- Use a USB cable to connect your Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro to your PC.
Open Xiaomi Flash Tool:
- Open the folder where you extracted the Xiaomi Flash Tool.
- Right-click on
XiaoMiFlash.exe
and select "Run as administrator."
Load Firmware into Xiaomi Flash Tool:
- In the Xiaomi Flash Tool, click the
Select
button. - Navigate to the folder where you extracted the firmware and select it.
- In the Xiaomi Flash Tool, click the
Refresh and Select Device:
- Click the
Refresh
button in the Xiaomi Flash Tool to detect your device. - Your device should appear in the list.
- Click the
Choose Flashing Option:
- At the bottom of the Xiaomi Flash Tool, you’ll see three options:
Clean all
,Save user data
, andClean all and lock
. - Select
Clean all
(this will erase all data on your device).
- At the bottom of the Xiaomi Flash Tool, you’ll see three options:
Start Flashing:
- Click the
Flash
button to begin the flashing process. - Wait for the process to complete. It may take a few minutes.
- Click the
Reboot Device:
- Once the flashing process is complete, the Xiaomi Flash Tool will show a success message.
- Disconnect your device from the PC and reboot it.
Important Notes:
- Ensure your device has at least 50% battery before starting the flashing process.
- Follow all instructions carefully to avoid bricking your device.
- Use the latest versions of the Xiaomi Flash Tool and firmware for the best results.
